Important notice to all Willow Creek Residents

Please note that we are transitioning our management contract to a different organization. As a result we would ask that if you have NOT paid your dues already that you WAIT FOR A NEW INVOICE to be distributed sometime later in the March/April timeframe.

If you have already paid, please send a quick note to directors@willowcreekhoa.ca letting us know of your payment, such that we can keep track of balances owing during this transition.  Any monies paid already will be transferred across in this transition (just asking you help so we can keep track!)

We have a small fireworks display planned for the community on Friday October 30th at around 7:15PM. **weather dependant

The fireworks will be launched from 104 Willow Creek View (see attached map).

We hope that most in the community should be able to easily view the show from your properties.  In the event you would like to get a little bit closer please see the attached map for some potential viewing locations.

Dear Residents,

According to our Articles of Association (Article 7), an annual general meeting (AGM) must occur every sixteen months. As our last meeting was May of 2020, we must hold an AGM in Sept 2020.

Due to the challenges associated with the current COVID-19 pandemic, the Willow Creek Homeowners Association (WCHOA) has support from the board of directors to defer the AGM.

We are currently planning for the AGM to be in Q2, 2021.

If you have any concerns or objections to the AGM's deferral, please send an email to directors@willowcreekhoa.ca and let us know.

Dear Residents,

We have received numerous complaints about the dangerous and illegal use of ATVs on the roads and pathways in Willow Creek.

A verbal warning has been issued and ignored.  This activity must stop immediately.

Please refer to the laws of the province of Alberta and Alberta Transportation around the legal use of ATV’s.

A huge thank-you for all residents that have sent in their annual HOA dues payment!

We are still missing a few fees and would like to remind residents that as per the encumbrance (click here to see the encumbrance) on all our titles, fees are due annually.

Interest charges (prime plus 5%) will be applied against all late payments.

Payments received after May 30th, 2020 will be subject to a minimum of 5 months interest plus administrative/legal fees/taxes.  Additional interest will continue to accrue, until fees are paid, for every day thereafter per the encumbrance.

These fees are an important part of supporting our community.

Good afternoon everyone,

We hope this note finds you all safe in the comfort of your homes amongst the company of your loved ones.

Presumably, many of you, received notice that Rogers has agreed to not place the tower in our community!

Please see attached. We can now rest easy that the tower will not be in our neighbourhood.

Thank you all for your heartfelt letters on this matter.
